“Should we mention or ask about testing in our discovery questionnaire or our contract agreement?”

Yes. I usually do that verbally with them in the process of actually writing the copy. As we finalize the contract, then I’ll usually say, “Okay, I’m going to give you two versions of this and do you split test? And if not, can we start doing that, and can you track the results?”

It’s usually part of my upsell process and not usually part of my initial closing process.
