“I’m going to a conference and am taking a few information packets. If I run out is it best to say “I just gave away my last information packet can I send one out to you?” or should I have enough so I don’t run out?”

Take nothing with you. Instead, go with a set of very well crafted questions (golden questions) for each prospect. Get them talking and telling stories of where they’re at and where they’re going. You ask the questions to control the conversation. They tell you what their goals and challenges are. You will find out what kind of copy they need. (Page 92 of Toolbox: In-person Networking Script)
